This policy explains how Mousa Sons (“the company”, “we”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you use mousasons.com or contact us through it, in line with Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its executive regulations, and with international best practice.
1. Data controller

2. Data we collect
- Contact form: name, phone number, email (optional), company name (optional), requested service and your message.
- Estimated quote request: company name, contact person, phone number, email (optional), governorate, the services, quantities and specifications you select, and any notes you add.
- Technical and security data: IP address, browser and device type and submission time, to protect our forms from abuse and repeated submissions.
- Usage data: aggregated statistics about the pages you visit — only if you consent to analytics cookies.
- Email delivery data: when we email you a quote or a reply, we record its status (delivered, opened or bounced) to make sure it reached you.
We do not collect sensitive personal data (such as health, financial or religious data) and never ask you for it.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Answering your enquiries and preparing, sending and following up estimated quotes: at your request and as a pre-contractual step.
- Verifying your identity with your phone number before showing your quote: to protect you and your quote (legitimate interest).
- Website security and preventing abuse and spam: our legitimate interest in protecting the site and its users.
- Usage analytics, site improvement and campaign measurement: only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligations: such as keeping records required by law or responding to competent authorities.
Estimated quotes are calculated automatically from our price list but are reviewed by our team before they are sent; we make no decision with legal effect about you based solely on automated processing.
We never sell or rent your personal data or use it for purposes incompatible with the above.
4. Who can see your data
Only the company’s relevant sales and support staff. We also use service providers that process data on our behalf and only on our instructions:
- Hosting provider: to run the website and store its database.
- Cloudflare: to speed up and protect the website.
- Resend: to send emails and track their delivery.
- Google (Tag Manager / Analytics): for statistics — only after your consent.
- WhatsApp: if you choose to contact us there; the chat is subject to WhatsApp’s privacy policy.
We may disclose data where required by law, a court order or an official request from a competent authority.
5. Transfers outside Egypt
Some of these providers may host data on servers outside Egypt. Where this happens, we make sure the transfer follows the conditions set by Egyptian law and is made to providers offering an adequate level of protection and contractual safeguards for security and confidentiality.
6. Retention
- Contact messages and quote requests: for as long as we deal with you, then for up to three years after the last contact for follow-up and records, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
- Estimated quote links: expire and are archived automatically after their set period.
- Technical and security logs: up to 90 days unless needed to investigate a security incident.
- Your cookie choice: 180 days, after which we ask again.
7. Security
We use an encrypted connection (HTTPS), restrict access to authorised staff with protected accounts, protect the quote page with an expiring signed link and your registered phone number, and monitor our forms for abuse. If a breach affects your personal data, we will take the necessary steps to contain it and notify the competent authority and those affected as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Under the law you have the right to:
- know what personal data we hold about you, access it and obtain a copy;
- have your data corrected, updated or completed;
- ask for your data to be erased or its processing restricted, and object to its processing;
- withdraw your consent at any time (for example your cookie consent, from the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page), without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal;
- be informed of any breach affecting your personal data;
- complain to Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Center if you believe your data is processed unlawfully.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@mousasons.com. We may ask you to prove your identity first and will reply within the periods set by law.
9. Children
This website is aimed at businesses and professionals; we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change, and we update the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be clearly highlighted on the website.
